Briefcase- Improving my leaflet design
This was my first design of y new and improved vegetables for the leaflet. However, I felt like there wasn't enough texture and it looked very flat and unusual. So I ended up redrawing the illustrations again.
For the background of my poster I wanted to show a collection of vegetables that grow in the allotments and are shipped out to different families. I really enjoyed doing this drawing and I think it is very effective. However, maybe the drawings look too realistic and not illustrative? So I might improve this further.
This is an illustration depicting the veg growing in the allotment, however, something about it looks off and unappealing. I might have to illustrate this one again to make as successful as I want it to be. I like how I drew the beetroot growing. So, I think to improve this I need to change the background.
Here's an illustration to show someone offering the excess vegetables to people who need it. I think the carrots are drawn really well but the leaves are too stiff for a carrot. So underneath this illustration I did a different version with the arrot leaves altogether Then I drew a basket with all the vegetables in and I think this turned out really well and I will use this in my leaflets and posters too. I think the way I drew each vegetable and the style I did it in is eye catching and a successful illustration.
For this final design for my recipe card, I used my previous illustration as the background and the added a light green box with the a low opacity over the top. I think this design is very successful and I will use this illustration in the future for my leaflet and poster to make sure theres continuity throughout the brand.
Heres my improved leaflet design with my added illustrations. I think this is a massive improvement from last time and is a lot brighter and has so much colour in it. I think this is eye catching and would also get across the idea to the reader.
